In addition, state-of-the-art, mixed-income residential apartments will be offered at a fraction of the cost of downtown living.

Construction on the Salina 1st project is ongoing. Commercial tenants planning to move in upon completion include: JHP Industrial Supply Company, Inc., SGTR, and E. Smith Contractors.

AMENITIES

Mixed-Income Apartments

Two levels of residential mixed income apartments will be located above the office space and will offer state of the art independent apartment living at a fraction of the cost of downtown living and, at the same time, in close proximity to employment.

Available Retail Space

Five community business retail spaces will be located at street level. These will be retail businesses catering to the community and to start-ups. There will be a symbiotic and mentoring relationship between these businesses and the incubator spaces described below that help to create the conditions for business success.

Shared Office Space

Two floors of co-working office space will be located above the retail and will offer full service incubator space to include workforce development, training, entrepreneurship support and scaling services.

Conference areas will be available and space will also be available for community businesses that thrive in this environment.

Maker’s Space

The adjoining Maker’s Space building will offer anchor manufacturing space for three or more businesses across approximately 23,000 square feet. JHP and E Smith Contractors will serve as initial anchors of the light manufacturing building. The developer is in conversations with light manufacturing enterprises for occupancy of the remaining space.

Ample parking will be provided adjacent to the light manufacturing to meet the needs of the residents and users of the project.
